Taurion Treasure Hunt Competition #2

The time is coming for the next alpha testing Taurion Treasure Hunt Competition. But this time around, we’ve added a lot more game features for you to explore and win prizes with. These are the main game mechanics you’ll be using (all still fully decentralised):

Prospecting
Mining
Resources
Inventory
Banking assets
Theft / Combat

In the last competition you only needed to prospect, but now you’ll also need to mine resources then transport them to a “banking zone” to secure them. However, while you’re transporting resources you’ll need to defend yourself against other players because we’ve added in theft now. Conversely, you can attack other players and steal their cargo contents.

Also, the 3 Houses all have different vehicles with different stats and different weapons. Some are faster while others are tougher. The choice is up to you.

Prizes

There are many prizes available in this competition including cash prizes and blockchain assets. You can win 4 different ways:

Prospecting
Mining
Combat & fame
Stealing

Prospecting

Prospect on Taurion to find these prizes:

GOLD PRIZE × 3 → $1,000 IN BTC OR ETH
SILVER PRIZE × 5 → $500 IN BTC OR ETH
BRONZE PRIZE × 10 → $100 IN BTC OR ETH

Here are some of our great Prize Partners for this competition so far:

Mining

Mine enough resources to build a medium sized vehicle and you will earn 1 mining point. You will also be awarded 1 medium sized vehicle in the full game release for each point you earn. The best miners will earn these prizes:

1st — 2 ETH
2nd — 1 ETH
3rd — 0.5 ETH
4th — 10th = 3000 CHI each
11th — 40th = 1000 CHI each

Combat & Fame

You’ll need to protect your resources and that will mean fighting. Killing enemies will earn you fame. Those with the top fame will earn the following prizes:

1st — 1 ETH
2nd — 0.4 ETH
3rd — 0.2 ETH
4th — 0.1 ETH
5th — 0.1 ETH

Stealing

You can also steal prizes from other players. Go after them! Attack! Get their cargo and then hurry over to a banking site before someone else steals from you!

Banking

In order to get points for your resources, and in order to keep your bonus prizes, you’ll need to take them to a banking zone to secure them. But watch out! Someone might attack you and try to steal your goodies while you’re on your way to a banking zone.
